Half a butterfly, half a heart, half a robot. Can you draw the other side?

Symmetry is one of the first big ideas in maths and art, and drawing a mirror image is a real workout for visual perception, spatial thinking and hand control. This pack builds the skill three ways: finishing half-pictures on a dot grid (with a faint hint at Level 1, none at Level 2), tracing a whole shape with both hands at once from the centre line, and mirroring pixel patterns square by square.

Every finished picture is one to colour in, which is the reward. Pop a small hand mirror on the dotted line to check the answer instantly.

What's inside: 31 pages · 24 finish-the-picture pictures · 10 both-hands mirror traces · 10 symmetry grids (including a design-your-own) · grown-ups' how-to page · certificate
Best for: ages 4–10 · quiet-time drawing, maths symmetry topic, fine motor practice
Format: instant PDF download, A4 and US Letter included

Tip: start with hearts and stars; faces and animals are harder.
